The back beat in this song is Alex's drum part after attempting a live take. We ended up just using his drum part and re-recording almost everything else. I love how the groove sets the mood on this one. .We ended up recording all over that original drum beat in the studio after that session. I also stole the bass line from Mercury Program's Sander Travisono, who was part of the original line up we had going into the start of recording these songs (sometime in 2016 I think?) Then life happened and people had kids and I ended up playing bass on all the songs and sat on this like a dolt for three freakin' years.
